Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the
world's manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile. With more
than 28,000 employees who make the world better every day, we know we have
something special. Behind our customers – amazing companies that help feed the
world, provide life-saving medicine on a global scale, and focus on clean
water and green mobility – our people are energized problem solvers that take
pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better.
We welcome all makers, forward thinkers, and problem solvers who are looking
for a place to do their best work. And if that's you we would love to have you
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Machine Learning
Engineer (MLE) to promote our mission and help build, deploy, and sustain
machine learning models that can help optimize process performance indicators
and trends. You will design and implement ML-based prediction capabilities and
components for detecting anomalous conditions and singularities in the
monitored processes and operations that could be most efficacious at alerting.
In this capacity, the Senior Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) will architect
and engineer the technical and data pipelines for digital products that
feature AI/ML algorithms, including how data and models will be scaled,
monitored, maintained, and effectively managed.
Lead efforts with Rockwell Automation business leaders to identify,
understand, explore, and deliver relevant data analyses to inform data
inclusion, exclusion, and sub-setting criteria as well as feature and
model selection for DH&I solutions.
Collaborate with data scientists to analyze and select appropriate data
models and algorithms that focus on improving process outcomes across
multiple operations/business areas leveraging diverse data.
Lead data engineering to extract and create data features from large data
sets for input into models.
Collaborate with data scientists to define model validation strategies,
train, and tune models, and analyze and resolve errors in models.
Lead model deployment to production.
Define and develop model monitoring and maintenance processes including
metrics to assess accuracy, drift, etc.
Lead and develop standards, processes, and best practices for the team
across the data science-based solution implementation lifecycle.
Work with teams in an agile setting.
Teach and mentor others.
Learn new techniques and keep on top of industry trends.
