Job Description

Fiix is on a mission to build better maintenance teams by connecting customers to the tools, resources, and technology they need to join the future of maintenance. We help our customers build better outcomes with easy-to-use, AI- driven maintenance software, an open ecosystem, pre-built integrations and the industry expertise they need for maintenance success.

We are hiring a Manager, Data Analytics to join the Fiix Software Operations Department within Rockwell Automation. Reporting to the VP, Saas Operations, the Manager of Data Analytics leads a multi-function data team and guides the evolution of our analytics, data engineering and data science functions. Responsible for business-critical reporting and important domain projects, you ensure Marketing, Revenue, Customer Success and Finance teams have the data insights they need to excel. The Manager, Data Analytics is hardwired to lead fact-based decisions and is comfortable working with organizational leaders to help set direction for the business. As a member of the Operations leadership team, you will also be relied on to help refine the Agile working system that aligns the entire Operations team towards a common goal.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the Fiix Data Analytics Team, which is comprised of Analysts, Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, and Data Engineers
  • Lead the PowerBI reporting suite and the other technology platforms and tools used by the Data team
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with organizational leaders to ensure that their data and analytics needs are cared for
  • Manage important data team projects from launch through completion
  • Establish and implement best practices for the team to follow in documenting daily work, partner communications/follow up, technical troubleshooting and execution
  • Explore and use new technology options, and existing tools used elsewhere inside Rockwell, to create cooperation and add efficiencies to our processes
  • Work with vendors to negotiate contracts for services we use, or adopt new services
  • The Essentials – You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Can work within Canada without sponsorship. We will not sponsor for this role now OR in the future.
  • The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of data analytics or data science, turning data into insights and providing insights across an enterprise
  • Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience leading diverse teams, coaching staff, providing clear and constructive feedback and influencing team to deliver results
  • Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate
  • Familiarity with cloud Data Warehousing within platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with AI modelling, tools needed to support and productionize these models
  • 3+ years of experience leading and delivering end-to-end data science projects
