The primary responsibility within the Product Interface team is to 'get the product right' and deliver product designs that enable a flawless launch and can be manufactured at the lowest total enterprise cost.
The Program Systems Engineer (PSE) will collaborate with Product Engineering (PE) during development and design phases, while supporting simultaneous manufacturing process development and optimization.
Specific responsibilities to the goal, include:

Collaborate with GPS ME process engineer team members to jointly support and lead the ME inputs into the development of the product design and evaluation using various analysis and virtual assessment tools concurrent with the development of the manufacturing process.
Lead scheduling and execution of the pre-production slow builds and support builds, on-site, as required.
Be the “voice of Manufacturing Engineering (ME)” in up-level technical and program forums.
Communicate development, manufacturing, and program status updates to leadership.
Complete/support manufacturing assessments for planning studies, technology roadmaps, and product design and change impacts.
Engage in Joint Development Agreement (JDA) and Joint Venture (JV) activities within the technology sector.
Up to 5%-10% travel required
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with major in engineering or equivalent experience
Manufacturing Engineering, Plant, or Product Engineering experience of 4 years or more
Demonstrated excelled level of analytical and problem-solving ability, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with high level of autonomy and accountability for results.
Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond the work assigned to meet organizational goals.
Battery module-pack experience (design and/or manufacturing) and/or Program Systems Engineer experience
Strong technical knowledge and ability in process engineering disciplines and product development process
