Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for the planning, maintenance, and manufacturing for Transmission Control in AdP/MOE2, Final Assembly, to include T93, DQ380, DQ501, iTCU, and GS19. Position is additionally responsible for production optimization and defect cost goals per business plan. Responsible for the procurement of equipment for respective equipment to include MAR, MAP Book, and GDS. Responsible for identification of continuous improvement and scrap reduction projects, and to lead cross functional teams to practical implementation of measures, and to improve organizational knowledge via optimization of manufacturing standards and focused training. Responsible for all quality and production documentation, e.g., PFMEA, CP, MSA, Engineering Guidelines, Production Quality Instructions, Engineering Change (ECR) and implementation, and gage calibration per TS/ISO requirements.
The candidate will work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver systemic improvements on-time, in-spec, and on-budget. The candidate must be innovative, creative, comfortable working from a vision, and working in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects simultaneously.

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (ME); or commensurate technical field.
- 3+ years in Manufacturing. Automotive manufacturing preferred. - Shainin certification preferred. Effective root cause analysis and problem- solving skills. - Proven skills in data systems development/improvement, data analysis and reporting. - Experience with Excel Power Query, PowerBI, SQL preferred. - Ability to teach and work with all levels of the organization. - Team player with broad interpersonal skills, especially in communication with leadership, engineering and production personnel. Solid written and oral communication skills including presentations. - Willing to travel internationally for training and lead plant visits as required. - Discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established company standards, policies, and procedures.
