Manufacturing Group - Process Engineer

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

-This position is for a Paint Process Engineer in GM-Arlington Paint Shop. You will be in charge of monitoring, maintaining, and adjusting the processing equipment as required to improve maintenance and quality metrics.

-This position requires direct supervision of technicians and skilled trades.

- You will analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes - You will propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area - Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area - You will provide technical support for specific plant operations - You will interact on a regular basis with design, product and manufacturing engineering staffs - Provide direction to engineering support group and vendors - You will evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment - You will handle engineering projects with plants and/or Manufacturing Engineering Staffs.
