Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired. This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 per week. Relocation may be provided.

The Chevrolet Marketing Analyst assists in the framing and development of brand research studies and is responsible for their execution, analysis and reporting to inform decisions in Advertising, Communications, and Marketing. Responsibilities for the Market Analyst will include but is not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist manager with understanding the internal divisional client's business decisions, framing the research objectives, and figuring out appropriate methodology
  • Develop surveys and focus group moderator guides which meet client's research objectives
  • Own the research planning meetings to ensure consensus prior to study execution
  • Monitor study execution and respond appropriately throughout
  • Maintain good communication and relationships before, during, and after the study with supplier, divisional client team and manager
  • Build the required purchasing documents and monitor vendor invoices
  • Analyze data in a timely manner with sound analytic methods
  • Construct well written reports to detail the key study findings including an executive summary with key insights
  • Present findings to internal divisional clients and address follow up issues

  • Challenge conventional thinking to help bring new, disruptive ideas to the marketplace
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of experience working with analytics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrably understanding and communicating with your audience (internal and external); presenting information effectively and succinctly; and communicating openly.
  • Excellent time management skills – the ability to effectively and efficiently use your time to focus on the most impactful activities and challenge those that distract from the identified goal.
  • Excellent project management skills and the proven track record to manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and take charge to get things done
  • A creatively consumer-centric, results-driven mentality
  • Advertising/Marketing agency experience preferred but not required
  • Automotive experience preferred but not required
  • Strong willingness to self-learn and develop new skills
