Diablo/Freud Tools is looking for a self-starter, organized, and driven individual with 2-3 years of procurement/sourcing experience in marketing to fill our marketing project specialist role. Previous experience marketing power tools and/or power tool accessories is not required. We provide a world class, hands-on training for all candidates regardless of previous experience.     Job Description

    You are high functioning individual who is comfortable collaborating with marketing on current and future projects that need to be procured, working with internal buying groups on PO submissions, and managing the complete lifecycle of the sourcing request all the way through acknowledgement of invoices/goods received.

  • Manage procurement lifecycle and activities for all marketing related purchases (indirect and direct) to include advertising, print, merchandisers, POP, temp labor, etc. Develop up to date tracking reports on said activities.
  • Serve as the Purchasing contact between the internal buying groups and the vendors with responsibility for submitting purchasing requests, RFQs, SOWs and other related documentation.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership on ensuring vendor selection meets needs of overall project: time to complete, project requirements, quality, and cost.
  • Daily collaboration with marketing, sales, supply chain, logistics, buying groups and external vendors.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain, purchasing, marketing or similar business focused fields of study
  • Ability to use past experience with sourcing and obtaining competitive pricing on outsourced projects
  • Comfortable in using previous experience in project management, organization, and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including follow-up skills and ability to see projects through from inception to completion.
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Demonstrable experience in productivity software: MS Outlook, Advanced MS Excel
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills
