Description

As a leader in Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leading a team of individual contributors for general assembly supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management. Act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.

  • Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives for BPD and GMS.
  • Ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
  • Communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers.
  • Position monitors and communicates at risk suppliers and parts to leadership.
  • Assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to general assembly production.
  • Assess supplier schedules and impact to general assembly production.
  • Summarizes critical issues with resolutions and communicates to leadership.
  • People leader for VBIMS and Material Flow Coordinator Positions.
  • Manages Ryder contract performance and sponsor employees.
  • Handles complex capacity constraints to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
  • Maintains MGO A record balance integrity and resole discrepancies through in-depth problem solving: Lead team MRA problem resolution, Lead MRB, MRD, MRG monthly MGO reconciliation. Lead team in completing monthly cycle counts. Conduct physical inventory as required. Analyze physical inventory results and make necessary record adjustments.
  • Leads weekly PFEP with cross functional team.
  • Leads model change and tracks performance to model change masterdot.
  • Leads fulfilling orders for department of defense.
  • Ensures dangerous goods SME on track to regulatory compliance
  • Processes SPPS as required for supplier issues.
  • Manages annual physical inventory as required.
  • Develops and implement cost savings projects.
  • Ensures total cost perspective is utilized.
  • Maintain on-time shipping for stamping CCA.
  • Escalate contract issues to GM purchasing, as required, to resolve.
  • Lead annual MGO A cutover.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • MGO Knowledge preferred
