Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division proudly offers undergraduate engineering students the opportunity to take advantage of our internship and co-op programs. The primary and underlying focus of the program is to give you a real-life look at what engineers do in the world of automation. We encourage you to put your education into action and get hands-on training by working on everyday engineering projects. Our overall goal is to provide students with a variety of real and interesting projects to work on, as nothing beats true field experience.

Yaskawa America is currently looking for an Engineering Intern to work on the following projects at our Santa Clara, CA location.

  • Testing and support of high-speed ethernet communications with industrial robots.
  • Testbench design and construction for motion controller, servo amplifier, servo motor automated testing
  • Testing and support of motion controller software development, robot kinematics, embedded firmware
  • VIDEO: Internship and Co-Op Program

    Requirements:

    Currently Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with sophomore or junior standing.

    Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills

    Willingness to work with a team

    Has a passion for learning and exploring new ideas
