Job Summary:

NYSE-listed AgEagle Aerial Systems is seeking an Operations Technician to join our Raleigh, NC team. This rôle will be responsible for performing electronics assembly and testing, as well as workng with the manufacturing and distribution team to meet production requirements based on company and customer needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtain instructions from engineering drawings, charts, sketches, and work instructions; and ensure work complies with instructions and specifications.
  • Drill, file, sand and fasten parts to meet production requirements, utilizing hand or power tools.
  • Perform electronics assembly and testing.
  • Work in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controlled environment using standard ESD control practices and procedures.
  • Work in a cleanliness-controlled environment where protection against foreign object debris and damage.
  • Perform tests on sub-assemblies and end-use items using computer-based testing procedures.
  • Use precision measuring and "shop" mathematics to test assemblies and components.
  • Utilize "tools and shop aids" to assemble components into sub-assemblies or end-use items.
  • Inspect assemblies for discrepancies.
  • Ensure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance (e.g., replacing machine filters, changing lightbulbs, maintaining lubrication/coolant levels, etc.)
  • Transfer/ transport products to next operation in production line.
  • Perform work within allotted schedules.
  • Assist and train employees at all classification levels (i.e., assembly, installation, inspection) to support flow of product in manufacturing process.
  • Cross train in quality and other areas of the manufacturing operation.
  • Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, and manufacturing procedures performed.
  • Adjust, align, and calibrate hardware using hand tools, gauges, etc.
  • Load, locate and unload parts and assemblies.
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience in either manufacturing production, assembly line, machine operating and automotive repair, OR 12+ months of experience operating hand tools and general labor.
  • Experience in electronics assembly, testing and experience working in an ESD controlled environment.
  • Ability to work on concrete floors, uneven surfaces, confined surfaces. Must also be able to climb stairs/scaffolding; crawl/kneel in workstation; and lift/move parts or tools.
  • Keep work area clean and safe.
  • Use, maintain and store company-provided tools and equipment in safe and proper manner.
  • Knowledge of computers, math skill, and blueprint reading experience to effectively perform tasks
