Introduction
As a Principal Oracle Business Systems Analyst, you will work in a dynamic and
growing technology organization, helping to lead and support iRobot's B2B
Order-to-Cash function. Reporting to the Director of Applications and
Solutions Architecture and working closely with your business partners in
Global Supply Chain and Finance, you will help to define, design, and deliver
mission critical Oracle enhancements and support.
We are seeking an expert in Oracle, EDI, and Order to Cash experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Act as global SME in the B2B order-to-cash business process and business
applications including, but not limited to, order management, inventory,
shipping, purchasing, receiving, invoicing and demand planning
Lead and participate in full lifecycle strategic projects, application
updates, upgrades, and regression testing.
Recommend process improvements, pursue possibilities, and own the outcome
for assigned tasks and initiatives
Effectively extract and document both technical and functional business
requirements.
Serve as a liaison between business groups and IT development to clarify
requirements.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are properly
translated into technical specifications that meet the business needs.
Work with development and support teams to create and refine a master test
plan that traces business requirements throughout the SDLC.
Act as a change agent to help ensure that the newly implemented
system/process enhances the success of the business.
Communicate status of deliverables and timelines to interested parties
proactively. Document issues thoroughly and escalate issues appropriately.
Perform gap analysis of requirements against out-of-the-box
application/system functionality and suggest best practices solutions.
Present findings for iterative prototypes, proof of concepts, and use case
studies.
Facilitate weekly or monthly meetings with business groups and
development.
Able to independently manage small projects when necessary
Track work progress/status; identify risks and constraints, escalate
issues as necessary
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work
experience
8+ years performing in similar BSA role with proven results
Expert-level experience performing Gap Analysis, process mapping, defining
business requirements, solution design, implementation and configuration
of Oracle eBusiness Suite
Expert-level with Oracle eBusiness Suite MFG applications including
Inventory, Discrete MFG, Cost Management, eCommerce Gateway (EDI), Order
Management and Shipping
Proficiency with Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials applications including
Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany
Global implementation project experience preferred (localizations, multi-
entity, multi-org, multi-currency, intercompany processes)
Familiarity with eCommerce and EDI solutions a plus; working with third-
party logistics partners and other external EDI service providers
Familiarity with Tableau or other BI analytics tools
Technical proficiency using tools like SQL, SQL Developer, Toad, etc. to
perform business analysis, ad hoc reporting, and data extracts.
Proficiency with Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence) for agile work
management, support and knowledge base creation and maintenance
Ability to work well both autonomously and within larger project teams in
a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to translate complex
system challenges in business impact terms to business partners and senior
leadership
