Description

As part of the larger Performance Driven Marketing (PDM) team, the Principal of MTA and MMM Corporate Brands is a key leadership position enabling the development and roll-out of world-class modern marketing capabilities at General Motors. This individual possesses deep understanding of marketing analytics, measurement, and strategic insights. They work cross-functionally and collaboratively providing media spend and actionable attribution insights into the enterprise business marketing teams.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of multi-touch attribution (MTA) and media mix model (MMM) insights for the GM Corporate brands (OnStar, CCA, Parts, CarBravo, …), helping them to tie back the media touches to both online and offline conversions.
  • Project management duties including project plans, timelines, ad-hoc requests, and managing the implementation of the MTA and MMM programs.
  • Partner with agency and consultant teams to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Expert manager of MMM and MTA SaaS tools.
  • Help internal clients understand the MMM and MTA data and how it relates to their business objectives.
  • Elevate MMM and MTA findings to a strategic, consultative, and actionable level. Convey complex stories to internal stakeholders in a strategic way that can be translated into measurable actions.

    Experience and Skills Required

  • 10+ years of Media Measurement, Marketing Mix Models and Multitouch Attribution experience.
  • 10+ Advanced Analytics, or Market Research Experience.
  • Extensive client facing, senior leadership presentation experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with an ability to translate and communicate analytical research findings into actionable insights.
  • Proven capability to think systemically, strategically, and analytically while executing decisively.
  • Ability to integrate data and findings from a variety of data sources and present a holistic view of a position.
  • Strong interpersonal, teambuilding, and negotiating skills with a can-do attitude and an ability to work well with internal GM clients and suppliers.
  • Strong team building and project leadership skills.
  • Master's or MBA degree in an analytical field preferred, but not required.
  • Technical Skills

  • Experience utilizing analytical software tools and packages.
  • Experience using MMM and/or MTA software solutions.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience with statistical methods, econometric analysis, and experimentation techniques.
  • Compensation:

  • The expected base compensation for this role is: ($112,141 - $175,401). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
