We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to manage a wide range of programs. You will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program. A successful Program Manager must have a broad knowledge of program management principles. They must have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead team members and business partners. The goal is to ensure every program will be delivered successfully and add the highest possible value to the organization.

The Merger & Acquisitions Program Manager (PM) will be hands-on managing integrations and working with the Merger & Acquisition team and Technical Leader to solve complex problems and remove roadblocks for the team to be successful. Supports the architectural designs and will aid in driving the execution of Mergers & Acquisitions for Rockwell Automation. The PM values simplicity, diversity of thought and is unafraid to challenge constraints and standard procedures to achieve the desired Agile design in partnership with additional subject matter experts. The PM is accountable for managing all aspects of the Mergers & Acquisition integrations, working with their Technical Leader to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future Mergers & Acquisitions activities. Ultimately this PM is responsible for ensuring the Rockwell organization achieves its desired business results associated with M&A activity.

What you will do:

  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Keep senior and executive management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
  • Participate in the due diligence process of future acquisitions.
  • Guide project team members on best practices for Mergers & Acquisition.
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people, not afraid of challenging the status quo.
  • Develop, as part of due diligence and manage budgets throughout the life of the program.
  • Partners with the Technical Leader, other PMs, and executive sponsors to communicate program goals, objectives, and potential outcomes.
  • Leads regular interactions with the executive sponsors to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the program outcome.
  • Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions for the program, in accordance with enterprise policies and practices, on behalf of the executive sponsor or senior responsible owner.
  • Directs the creation and maintenance of the required program documentation and artifacts.
  • Leads the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications, and reporting.
  • Acts as an advisor and builds and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community.
  • Oversees the execution of program projects, their progress compared with the plan and the production of agreed deliverables.
  • Monitors and coordinates dependencies across the projects in the program and resolves conflicts.
  • Directs or approves the establishment of a framework or guidelines for the use of contractors and professional service providers and determines their use across the program.
  • Supports and facilitates agenda setting for program status meetings.
  • Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes.
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.
  • Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed.
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years leadership experience in the Mergers & Acquisition space
  • Considered an expert within Mergers & Acquisition space.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and change management resolution.
  • Bachelor or Masters in CS, MIS, Software Engineering, or equivalent engineering/technical degree.
  • Familiar with production Cloud/DevOps environments.
  • Experience in Agile Principles.
  • Experience managing priorities within the Backlog.
  • Experience managing the overall delivery through the aligned teams.
  • Experience in interaction with Senior and Executive Management.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to distill information from disparate data sources and the capability to tell the story behind it, as well as recommendations for next steps.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
  • Seek out and embrace relevant perspectives when assessing a situation or making decisions.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of multiple viewpoints.
