Summary We are looking for Program Managers (PM) to join the Small UAV product line and lead the execution of high-profile company programs including cost, schedule, and technical performance. Program Managers manage the program life- cycle and manages all activities necessary to meet business goals and objectives and provides a single point of contact for program activities to both internal and external customers.
Position Responsibilities (may vary slightly based on position level):
Supports or leads in the development of program planning and estimating for complex Programs; manages all aspects of planning assigned Program plans
Ensures customer alignment and manages overall customer satisfaction
Defines, implements, and manages program controls and success criteria
Identifies, analyzes, and manages program-level risks
Establishes, communicates, and manages program priorities
Creates, manages, or leads in the creation and management of multiple project schedules in the support of a multiple Programs
Leads program meetings and program reviews with the customer and executive staff
Develops and maintains program plans including budget, Estimate at Completion (EAC), resource allocation, and communications
Leads and supports the creation and maintenance of product requirements
Manages potential changes in program scope and advise leadership and customer of potential impact
Actively supports the Business Development team in bidding and capturing opportunities
Oversees the preparation of cost and technical proposals and ensure adherence to Company policies and processes
Other duties as assigned
We are pipelining for Program Managers with various levels of experience:
Program Manager I with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
Program Manager II with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
Program Manager III with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience
Program Manager, Sr. with a minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering-related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Proven track record of leading multiple, concurrent programs
Demonstrated experience managing firm fixed price programs and developing risk management & mitigation plans
Strong knowledge of Project Management methods, tools and processes
Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with internal stakeholders as well as government and commercial customers
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project)
A strong communicator able to articulate vision/mission to team
Other competencies: Strong verbal and written skills; analytical and strategic thinking ability; leadership skills; very strong work ethic as well as honesty, trustworthiness and high integrity
Some travel required (up to 20%)
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
PMI (or equivalent) certification is preferred
Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems preferred
Experience in a highly technical environment preferred
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel
Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives
Has effective problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Focuses on teamwork, collaboration and puts the success of the team above one's own interests
Demonstrates effective listening, questioning, clarifying and summarizing skills to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings (written and verbal)
Successfully works within a multi-project environment and supports multiple internal customers
Is successful in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and puts the success of the team above one's own interests
Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties
Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products

Physical Demands
