As Quality & Manufacturing Engineering Manager at our office in Odense, you will be heading a high-performance team focusing on improvements of Manufacturing Quality & Operational Engineering processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the right quality level, ensuring production capacity aligned with our growth ambitions and focus on a cost-effective operation. You, and your department, are the first line of improvement of the manufacturing processes, but also first line of defense if something unplanned occurs. You will be leading and empowering your team through process- and technical mindset with management tools from LEAN, Six Sigma & manufacturing automation. You will work cross-functionally in the organization. Some of the key stakeholders to mention are R&D, NPI, Sourcing & logistics, Service and of course production.
You will be based in Odense, Denmark and will report to Said Hussein Hussein, Head of Global Operations.
We are driven by honesty and act with integrity - #WhoAreU The length of your experience is less important to us; however, we do require that you have experience in working with: • Managing the Quality & Manufacturing Engineering team • Improving Safety according to our safety goals and strategy • Quality improved internally on production lines by tools from Six Sigma • Ensuring enough production capacity according to revenue targets by driving LEAN and one-piece flow (DFT) • Drives Kaizens to ensuring always continuous improvement • Coordinate and implement assembly process improvements in relation to product changes (0-series process) • Ensuring wellbeing and a high performing team • Introduction of new production processes • Experience with EMS supplier/outsourced manufacturing is a big advantage
We imagine that you have academic qualifications within STEM and preferably you hold: • Engineering background production, machine or electronic engineer • A manager that that can manage a self-driven team • A manager that goes “GEMBA” – out, see and feel the production pulse • DFT, LEAN & Six Sigma experience is a big advantage • Experience within electronic ESD & assembly manufacturing • Decisions are made based on data
