Description
  • Drive problem solving and lead resolution to supplier, internal, and customer driven quality issues.
  • Interact with operations and engineering on part measurement results to part print specifications to assure quality and reliability.
  • Ensure effective containment and resolution to identified non-conforming product.
  • Communicate emerging issues.
  • Coordinate repair, rework, and containment activities for identified quality concerns.
  • Support effective adherence to all elements within the Spring Hill Quality System
  • Position is a 1st shift position. Must be available to answer and responds to off shift issues.
  • What makes you an ideal fit:

     Experience as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Design Engineer and/or Reliability Engineer 
     Good problem solver 
     ·Independent judgement in managing complex and ambiguous tasks with minimal input from supervisor 
     Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams. 
     Effective communicator with solid oral and written presentation skills 
     High energy personality with an internal drive to take action quickly in our fast-paced environment. 
     Analyze and understand data sets of a technical nature. 
     Ability to supervise coach and teach hourly and salary team members.
    

    Qualifications:

     High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult. 
     Well-developed oral and written communication skills 
     Knowledge of and ability to effectively use computer software as it pertains to quality engineering. 
     Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
