Summary of Role
As part of supporting the OnStar Digital Line of Business, the Remote Connected Services (RCS) product management team focuses on building digital products that our customers love, primarily while they are away from their vehicle. This is done in partnership with the broader Infotainment Services team to ensure we create Remote products with cohesive experiences when the customer transitions between Remote and In-Vehicle.
The Remote Connected Services Vehicle Data Product Manager, within the RCS team, will have the responsibility to support the development of a portfolio of retail connected vehicle health and driving behaviors products, bringing new products to market, and ensuring the highest quality experiences are delivered to our customers throughout their vehicle ownership lifecycle. The primary focus of this role will be on the enablement of these products though creation and maintenance of the foundational backend service work. Some of the products the person in this role will support are Smart Driver 2.0 gamification enablement, EV Battery Health enablement, Vehicle Health Services (VHS) system, Customer Driving Behaviors (CDB) system, and much more. In addition, this role will have broader enterprise scope to help other LOB's achieve their goals utilizing these same foundational services we build in Remote Connected Services.
The Product Manager will work in partnership with a cross functional team of key stakeholders in DBTT (Digital Business Technical Team), engineering, solution management, strategy, product marketing, connected operations, legal, safety, finance, and other enterprise LOB's to develop their product roadmap and lead on execution. This role will have the responsibility of translating new technology and capabilities within the vehicle into enabling breakthrough experiences to meet customer needs in new ways.
