Job Description:The RESS Battery Test Manufacturing Engineer, will oversee the manufacturing processes and equipment for RESS Battery Assembly. While working in Manufacturing Maintenance, you will be responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of plant equipment. Work requires the ability to make decisions based on established procedures, innovate and define new procedures in a dynamic work environment. The Battery Test ME will work with the Manufacturing and Quality department in problem solving customer issues and developing short term corrective actions as well as long term irreversible solutions. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). This role may involve training others, so a high level of interpersonal skills with sensitivity to other's points of view, make contributions to the resolution of complex manufacturing problems, and collaborate with support functions outside the plant is required.
