Position

The Dedrone Revenue Manager will be the right hand of Dedrone's Director of Finance, responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and finance operations for 2 US entities, as well as driving critical projects across finance and the business. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven, top performer to join a fast-paced, high performing team to continue building our winning culture within the counter-drone marketplace. The ideal candidate will have experience as either a senior auditor within a global public accounting firm, or as a senior accountant for a corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting activities for global revenue accounting to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606), internal policies, and external audits
  • Work with sales operations team to improve and automate efforts O2C operations for growth and improve the quality and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and internal controls
  • Revenue subject matter expert collaborating with Sales, Sales Ops, Deals Desk, and Legal to provide technical revenue accounting guidance for deal negotiations to achieve the best revenue outcome
  • Partner with global business operations teams on operational matters affecting revenue
  • Assist the Director of Finance in driving various projects across finance and the business, including:
  • Netsuite implementation
  • New billing and revenue systems
  • Assist with developing the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecasts, including partnering with SalesOps team to build a reliable sales forecast
  • Occasional travel to other Dedrone's offices
  • Qualifications

  • 4+ years as either a senior auditor or senior accountant, CPA preferred
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to act and operate independently; natural curiosity to take on new challenges and responsibility
  • Desire and ability to make contributions across the business, from booking journal entries to managing critical projects, and be comfortable interacting across all levels and functions of the organization
  • ASC 606 experience required, preferably in a SaaS plus HW environment
  • Experiences with inventory/HW products and international organizations a plus
