The Sr Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce (Sr BSA) is the subject matter expert behind architectural decisions for the team. The Sr BSA, is a key driver of the visionary force behind the technical solution and partners with team to succeed with goals. The Sr BSA places strong value on simplicity and is unafraid to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve an Agile design, and works closely with all team members to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future architectural changes and designs. In partnership with Technical Leaders, The Sr BSA will drive the teams engineering practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment, and will lead and actively coach the team to solve complex problems and remove roadblocks to ensure team success.
In this role you will:
Design the overall technological architecture of the product with the help of the team
Guide and provide technical expertise to project teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration and automated deployment
Be responsible for the technical design of the product
Mentor and coach the technical team, specifically with code reviews
Be hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical impediments
Work with Business Product Owner(s) to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the technical stack
Be a thought partner with the Product owner(s) in story creation and acceptance criteria, and communicate tradeoffs effectively with Designers
Look for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
Provide the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality
Share responsibility with Product Owner(s) for building reusable and scalable components
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
Experience on integrating Salesforce with 3rd party products, ideally using Mulesoft. Financial Force PSA experience is a plus
Experience on ERP applications (SAP, IFS, Oracle)
Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies, especially with the Scaled Agile Framework. Jira and Jira Align experience is a plus
Experience on working in a DevOps setting using latest DevOps tools like GitHub, Jira and CI/CD pipeline
Experience in Cloud technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience using multiple tools, processes, and methodologies (project management suites, service/workflow request systems, time tracking, etc.)
Works independently, provide input to the program/project manager on various activities
Possess a clear understanding and proficiency across multiple technology platforms and delivery methods
Fast learner with the desire to develop new ideas and concepts
A customer centric, "Customer Service" focused mindset
High attention to detail
Understanding of technical system capabilities
