Description

The GM Dealer Digital Solution (DDS) is seeking a Senior Digital Retail Analyst to leverage data, measurement and analytics to identify and improve business impact of DDS products (which can be found at www. GMDealerDigital.com). In partnership with internal and external stakeholders, the Digital Retail Analyst will develop and oversee test and learn plans for DDS products optimization. This information will enable the DDS program to provide value to dealers through improving the dealers' digital performance as well as demonstrate the value of DDS Program participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile data sets and draw insights for DDS team on behalf of the following product categories:
  • Digital Advertising
  • Dealer Websites
  • SEO
  • Call Tracking
  • Chat
  • Trade Tools
  • Vehicle Images
  • Reputation Management
  • Google Business Profile
  • Educate leadership and broader team on industry trends and their application to the DDS program
  • Develop recommendations and build business cases using program and industry data
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive dealer value through optimal product mix, identify program and product benchmarks, and increase dealer enrollment by demonstrating ROI for participating dealers
  • Analyze internal and external data including website metrics, digital advertising, survey response data, call tracking data, sales and lead data, inventory levels, and more
  • Identify correlations between DDS products and socialize complementary products which elevate performance when paired together
  • Demonstrate unrelenting curiosity about optimized product mixes and the relationship between product enrollment, vendor performance, contribution to sales, and consumer behavior/trends
  • Provide recommendations on best practices that dealers and Digital Performance Team (DPT) members can implement to drive retail performance and digital conversion
  • Execute A/B testing campaigns in partnership with providers, analyzing key metrics, and identifying opportunities to increase product/program performance
  • Collect and analyze customer, marketing, and web behavioral data
  • Develop and present learnings from analysis, including actionable insights and recommendations
  • Well-informed of industry trends, consumer shopping behaviors, and the digital evolution as it relates to media, marketing, and automotive retail
  • Distill large, complex data sets down to digestible actionable insights tailored to brand, regional and dealer audiences
  • Produce, deliver, and present insights from ad-hoc reporting leveraging internal GM and external data as requested by DDS team, brands and leadership.

    Qualifications :

  • Knowledgeable of the industry vendors listed on GMDealerDigital.com preferred
  • Familiar with the concept of a centralized marketing team that activates across a network of individual locations (e.g. retailers, dealers, franchises)
  • Strong background in media measurement and attribution
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics or related field
  • Proven experience as a Digital Analyst or similar role
  • Natural self-starter, curious and able to autonomously identify opportunities to dig further into the data
  • Experience with digital analytics tools (Adobe, Google Analytics, etc.), data analysis and modeling
  • Strong expertise with MS Excel
  • Required:
