Our GM Europe Customer Experience & Connectivity Team is seeking a Sr UX Designer/CX Design Group Lead – Europe to serve a design thought leader in the execution of D2C experiences across a range of channels and will work with the CX Design Group Head directly. Our studio creates customer-facing digital experiences across multiple brands and platforms, touching millions of lives across retail, in-vehicle, web, mobile, and wearable interfaces.

About the Role:

Design and user experience (UX) are at the forefront of everything we do. The job of an Interaction Designer is to envision how people experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined and even magical. In an Interaction Designer role, you'll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for millions of people around the world—from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them.

As an UX Interaction Designer, you will make a positive impact on the lives of users. You'll work on a collaborative team focusing on making things user friendly and transparent for all. In this role, you'll be part of a cross functional team, building innovative products using your mix of interaction design and visual design skills.

User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people rely on and love. We strive to learn and understand our users' needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our CX teams include designers, researchers, strategists, project managers, product development and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products' unique capabilities and personalities across all the European region. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct interviews, competitive research, design explorations, and strategic analysis
  • Create standout interactive experiences that delight users and promote our client's businesses
  • Identify key ideas to drive projects and how to implement them in multiple channels
  • Work with visual designers to co-create design systems
  • Provide deliverables, including prototypes, proof of concept, wireframes, user flows, use cases, and user scenarios
  • Track and monitor progress on development and quality of the experience
  • Develop simple and elegant design solutions to complex design problems
  • Work with team members to develop streamlined UX processes
  • Continually innovate and improves on the agency processes and deliverables to set new standards
  • Proactively pursues opportunities to improve the strategy to better address client and user objectives
  • PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • A portfolio of internationally recognized and award-winning experience in design work
  • A background in digital creative agencies, understanding how to bridge the world of innovation and experience design to the world of big idea creative and platform thinking.
  • Solid understanding and demonstration of user-centred design principles, with mastery in user experience tools, methodologies, processes, best practices, and key deliverables
  • The ability to lead the design of large and complex systems of interactions
  • Understands interactive experiences, channels, and design principles
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead a team of user experience designers working on multiple projects and assumes responsibility for all documentation produced by the User Experience team
  • Capable of defining consumers, processes, and ideas based on research and insight and can effectively communicate this point of view with senior stakeholders
  • Charismatic, confident, and credible with both new and existing clients
  • Connected to popular culture, trends, brands, technologies and how they impact business and our clients
  • Tech savvy, future-facing, curious and innovative in approach
