Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

- This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-2 times per week.

The Enablement Team within Customer Care and Aftersales is seeking a creative problem solver and risk taker that wants to impact the direction of the Supply Chain as well as support our internal and external customers. Our team members are driven to translate ask into action plans; fail fast and learn to ensure that all customer needs are met. Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategy :

  • Support the strategic development and execution planning required to execute all new programs (Gas and Electric powered vehicles as well as non-traditional vehicle applications) of which service parts supply are required at or before the start of production.

  • Interpret future program requirements, conduct gap assessment with existing processes and capabilities, and develop mitigation plans with support from Supply Chain and Warehousing SME's to ensure future program success focused on unique customer needs.

  • Execution :

  • Transform strategic planning approach Maintain team tools (vehicle files, availability files, documentation, dashboards, and databases) to ensure optimal use by team members.

  • Provide continuous improvement to the business tools by crafting new reports, automating manual reports, creating interactive dashboards, and facilitating changes to ensure adaptability for our evolving business needs.

  • Tracking project deliverables to ensure clear understanding of launch progress and status

  • Leverage knowledge gained in project forward planning to support launch execution and part readiness process.

  • Escalation :

  • Provide data gathering/modeling and analysis in support of New Model Readiness, Availability, Enablement functions leveraging a variety of data sources.

  • Serve as overall Enablement SME in meetings and workshops to understand current practice and potential future gaps that require launch solutioning.

  • Deepen understanding of business issues and data challenges of the business.

  • Recommend strategic directions related to structure, and/or technology.

  • Demonstrate managerial courage by speaking up to ensure all timely execution of all project deliverables to establish timeframe.

  • Engagement :

  • Foster positive interactions with internal and external customers/partners and make recommendations for enhancements where appropriate.

  • Identify business strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement to address unique customer needs.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience

  • Project management experience

  • Cross functional experience working with multiple areas responsible to execute a common goal with focus on Product Launch

  • Supply Chain, Warehousing and or Engineering (Required)

  • Practical/Intermediate experience Microsoft Applications (including PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Excel, OneNote, and Project)

  • IMS, Erapa-I, Erapa-NA, EUC data familiarity
