Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.
The Role:
In Inventory Management at Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA), we seek team members who are creative problem solvers and risk takers that will drive impactful innovations that contribute to our continued evolution. This opportunity will continue to progress your business knowledge, technical ability, and leadership. The position will be responsible for performing strategic data projects and process improvement opportunities across multiple teams. It will also serve across Product Life Cycle Management and will primarily focus on optimizing costs, improved analysis efficiencies, and profitability.
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing data activities such as data sourcing, Knime workflows, Power BI dashboard maintenance, and development of new methodologies – such as reporting and automation projects. Additionally, this role will lead and support project development tasks, and will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and overall improvement of recommendations to business owners.
What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain various supply chain tools (risk analysis, forecast and cost modeler) to analyze demand and associated cost impacts. Maintain close working relationships with business and IT to manage toolset. (Access databases, Power BI dashboards, Knime workflows, etc)
Serve as team SME regarding data and tools available to run the business. Seek the unknown/unfamiliar data elements required to drive innovation with an accuracy.
Lead the development of tools, process and documentation that drive daily operations with a quality focused mindset
Participate as SME with various Leadership forums and presentations when necessary to seek go forward approval.
Support future project teams to help identify gaps in current processes and work to address those gaps to reduce risk for CCA

Foster positive interactions with customers/partners and make recommendations for enhancements where appropriate.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Advance knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, Access, MS Office Suite and Knime
Proven track record of taking the initiative, dealing with ambiguity, problem solving and leading change
Working knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warehousing Operations organization
Subject matter expert with large data sets and knowledge of technical tools such as financial, analytical, accounting and statistical tools.
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to utilize complex modeling techniques
Capacity to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects with aggressive deadlines and visibility
Recognized ability to act with a sense of urgency to problem solve issues independently with an understanding of impacts to both internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated interpersonal capabilities working with multiple stakeholders who may have conflicting metrics and may ultimately require facilitating a compromise to reach the best solution
Bachelor's Degree in Business/IT/Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management
