Job Description
Create, maintain, and continually improve positive long-term relationships
with key customer contacts
Resolve customer concerns and inquiries for service repair and warranty
Issue RGA numbers (return goods authorization) to customers,
distributors
Calculate pricing for quotations according to defined standards and
escalate according to established guidelines
Determine material availability and escalate according to established
guidelines
Ship products to and from customers and suppliers
Execute, track, and proactively manage repair / warranty-requested orders
according to department standards
Proactively identify and resolve issues related to stagnated orders to
support fast delivery
Regular follow up with customers regarding open quotations and RGA's
Proactively communicate with other team members regarding priority and
workload including when availability exists to support other team members
Independently review knowledge database and proactively escalate unique
scenarios when appropriate
Cross trained in SAP order processing for other areas when needed
Overtime may be required, sometimes with little advance notice
Occasional travel to visit customer (relationship building) and off-site
training
Perform other essential and peripheral duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school (ex. PA Dept
of Education, FL Dept of Education, US Military).
3 plus years customer facing work experience.
Knowledge of personal computer and Microsoft Office software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism with
customers and co-workers
Strong organizational skills including excellent priority management
Demonstrated ability to take direction and work within process standards
Ability to learn and apply new processes
Experience with an ERP system (ex. SAP)
Must be able to work well in a high-paced, variable environment
