Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Be the main Point of Contact for shipping personnel with truck drivers, customer service, and scheduling personnel, resolving shipping inventory issues prior to shipment window time
  • Escalate inventory shortages to defined personnel
  • Assist Team Management by adhering to dock schedule, pick schedule, and workflow
  • Assist in logistics management of docks to accommodate loading
  • Interact with carrier truck drivers to complete shipping documentation, including but not limited to issue/signing BOLs, customs paperwork, and scanning of international documents as required and directed
  • Send ASN or shipping paperwork to customers as required, within timeframe allotted and directed
  • Update and print customs paperwork or miscellaneous shipping paperwork for non-production parts as required
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record as per company policy
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work well with others and provide excellent customer service

  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Complete other assigned tasks as needed
  • Job Requirements:

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Able to pass Company's forklift certification program and able to drive various types of motorized lifts.
  • Regularly lift and/or move 15 lbs., frequently lift and/or move 30 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, kneel and squat
  • Possess vision abilities that include close, distant and peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Minimal outdoor work
  • Able to withstand non-climate-controlled environments
  • Use ladder
  • Qualifications
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills Must have experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong SAP skills preferred
  • Have good written and oral communication skills
  • Work flexible and overtime hours as necessary
  • Must be able to interact with varying levels of people
  • Must have strong problem solving and decision-making skills
