Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Sr Development Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 4421 Highway 81 North, Anderson, SC, 29621. Direct Customer Communications and Data Analysis Solenoid. Troubleshooting Solenoid CAD Design, CAD Print Maintenance Production Line Troubleshooting and Support. Lead the engineering support to release new component suppliers for LFS. Lead the engineering support to release new product design improvements LFS. Lead the engineering support to ensure manufacturing quality and scrap reduction on the LFS Solenoids. Handle root cause technical issues on the LFS. Define testing specifications, negotiating product requirements & setting budget for internal engineering test and problem-solving projects. Reports to local Product Development Manager to facilitate and lead the following: Product engineering focus on testing, design, and simulation for new projects development. This position remains in the Transmission Control (TC) subdivision of the Gasoline systems division in BOSCH Group Automotive Sector. Release of suppliers leading +3 design changes. Understand data analysis and understanding of the performance of the LFS GMFO at the transmission level (Customer application). Support supplier releases and modifications with Mexico and US. Supports launch of new production lines meeting targets of scrap and OEE. Handle constant customer communication in regards of quality/performance of the product at transmission levels. Handle communication with suppliers to implement design changes. Perform cross functional work with teams in Mexico and Germany to improve product performance. Conduct statistical analysis of production to predict/prevent failure modes. Update internal/external test specifications in constant communication with customer. Evaluate process performance and perform optimization of suppliers. 25% domestic and international travel required. Remote Work May Be Permitted. REQS: This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience in Solidworks GD&T and Linear Force Solenoids. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1. Analyzing, interpreting, and updating engineering drawings using GD&T; 2. Production data analysis using excel macros and Minitab; 3. Problem solving using Shainin methodology; 4. Implementing design changes and improving solenoids performance with magnetic simulation; and 5. Tolerance stack analysis. Apply below.
