Summary
The Sr. Director, People Strategy & Operations is a Key Member of the P&C Leadership Team. In partnership with the VP, People & Culture, the Sr. Director, People Strategy & Operations will lead the implementation, scaling, and improving of the AV people strategy programs designed to support business goals. This is a hands-on leadership role; working with people at all levels and in all different functions in the organization, continuously improving employee engagement; embracing leadership/managerial and people development; empathetic Employee Relations; and improved retention across the business.
This role will build alliances across the organization in order to create awareness and prove, through data, the positive business impact in utilizing people strategies that support a high performance culture.
The Sr. Director, People Strategy & Operations ensures each business/function is supported by developing a strong team of Sr. P&C Managers, P&C Business Partners, and their team of Business Partners & Generalists; provide guidance, development, and functional P&C expertise to enable Business Partners and their teams.
The Sr. Director, People Strategy & Operations will develop and drive forward the Corporate People Strategy: humanizing impersonal HRIS Systems and Processes; continuously improving employee engagement; embracing leadership/managerial and people development; empathetic Employee Relations; and improved retention across the Business Segments.
Position Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience
A minimum of 10+ years directly managing a team of senior P&C leaders; multi-function organizations, preferred
A minimum of 5+ years in a senior leadership position, leading a team of senior P&C business partners within a global organization
Significant proven experience as a people strategy leader with deep knowledge in Organizational Development, Change Management, and talent development
Demonstrated experience in developing talent processes that support a high-performance culture
Demonstrated experience supporting C-Suite leadership
Experienced in successfully planning large, complex programs
Successful experience in providing feedback and guidance to leaders
Experience developing and managing within a matrix environment
Experience working within a multi-national organization and leading a global P&C team
M&A, and integration experience
Demonstrated experience converting talent strategies to support business results
Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S. and globally
Thorough understanding of US Labor Law with the ability to research and apply changes to the organization

SPHR Certification highly preferred

Prior experience scaling a P&C organization to support a high growth organization.
Prior Aerospace and Defense experience
Prior HRIS Implementation experience
Prior experience overseeing the entire Employee Lifecycle
Prior experience specializing in one or more Functional Areas of HR

Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root causes identification, and problem solving

Physical Demands
Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S or abroad

The salary range for this role is:
$209,088 - $313,632
