The role of a Senior Director of Process Improvement involves leading and overseeing initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for process improvement initiatives, aligning them with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

  • Process Optimization: Lead efforts to identify, analyze, and optimize key business processes across departments, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Change Management: Implement change management strategies to drive the adoption of new processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a team of process improvement professionals, guiding them in the development and execution of improvement projects.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders and teams across different departments to understand their processes, identify pain points, and implement solutions that benefit the entire organization.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of process improvement initiatives.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Oracle vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies within the Oracle Supply Chain function.

  • Training and Development: Develop training programs and materials to ensure that employees understand and embrace new processes, fostering a culture of ongoing improvement.

  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate relevant technologies and tools that support and enhance the efficiency of business processes.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with process improvement initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and minimal disruptions.

  • Budget Oversight: Manage the budget associated with process improvement initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation.

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, organizational development, or a related field.

  • Experience: Extensive experience in process improvement and change management, with a focus on leading large-scale initiatives. Significant experience in supply chain management, with a focus on Oracle Supply Chain solutions. Previous leadership experience is often required.

  • Oracle Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain applications and tools, including Oracle SCM Cloud, Oracle ERP, and related modules.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions to optimize Oracle Supply Chain processes.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts and collaborate with various stakeholders at different organizational levels.

  • Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, driving them towards common improvement goals.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align process improvement initiatives with overall organizational strategies.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to ensure successful implementation of process improvement projects.

  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing business environments and leverage new technologies for continuous improvement.

  • Physical Demands

  • (travel) Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S.

  • Ability to work in an office and R&D environment (Constant)

  • Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)

  • The salary range for this role is:

    $178,200 - $302,500
