About the role:

We're looking for a strong sales manager to lead and coach our growing business development team. In this role, you'll build and lead a team of high- performing business development representatives and ensure they meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

You'll work cross-functionally with sales leadership, marketing and operations teams to define the overall goals and strategy. You'll run strategic vertical programs that support pipeline and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will sharply understand the sales process, BDR operations, account-based targeting, and value-based selling. This is an opportunity to build a large team and drive significant results.

  • Increased target account engagement and meetings set within target verticals
  • Decreased friction in the lead-to-opportunity process. Increased quality of opportunities
  • Better insights between sales and marketing through shared feedback from BDR efforts
  • How you'll make an impact:

  • Build the team. Hire, coach and manage a growing team of high-performance of BDRs
  • Set the overall targets and strategies for the BDR function to achieve monthly and quarterly goals
  • Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly attainment
  • Define and refine overall comp strategy and quarterly incentive plans in partnership with sales leadership
  • Improve sales processes and tools to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
  • Bring a strong coaching mindset and regularly train BDRs on value selling, prospect qualification, cold call techniques, objection handling, social selling, etc
  • Ensure BDRs are meeting SLAs on lead/account follow-up and opportunity qualification
  • Collaborate closely with Demand Generation and sales leadership teams to run strategic ABM programs, event and webinar promotions, and other outbound activities
  • Develop a library of prospecting resources for the BDR team and stay up to date on sales best practices—including development of email/phone outreach messaging, playbooks, and account engagement plans
  • What makes you a good fit:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales/BDR experience
  • 2+ years of B2B sales leadership experience (Team Lead and/or Manager)
  • Strong understanding of vertical account planning and prioritization
  • Demonstrated success with sales process improvement and quota attainment
  • Must be process driven, with the ability to track and forecast appropriate BDR metrics tied pipeline
  • Working knowledge with engagement stack: Outreach, Drift,, Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Marketo, and other sales engagement tools
  • Salesforce reporting experience is required
  • Passion for sales excellence, coaching and best practices
  • High energy, team-player, with bias toward action
  • Experience juggling multiple projects and priorities at once, and working cross functionally
