Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Manager, People and Culture to lead and execute initiatives that enhance our organization's talent and foster a positive workplace culture. As a Sr. Manager in this role, you will play critical part in shaping the employee experience and supporting the company's growth and success by collaborating with key cross functional business leaders to identify, develop, and implement strategies that meet the needs of the business. This includes developing a deep understanding of the business and the functional goals of each client group, ensuring they have the right talent, structure, culture and processes in place to drive and sustain impact.

Position Responsibilities

  • Partners with the business in developing an understanding of the people and organizational strategy needs, change management, organizational design, business process improvement, performance management, and effective communication
  • Proactively initiates dialog with management, provide advice on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps
  • Coaches business leaders on leadership behaviors and practices, employee communications, development and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development
  • Executes annual processes such as Talent Management, Succession Development, Compensation Review Process, and integration of new hires
  • Facilitates the effective resolution of day to day P&C matters including investigating complaints and proposing recommendations to ensure fair and consistent treatment based on past practice, policies and regulatory requirements
  • Supports business on talent acquisition process, implement strategies to attract and retain top talent and build employer brand
  • Provides counsel to leaders on matters of employee and organizational policies and procedures
  • Lead and manage team of P&C professionals to ensure effective strategy implementation to support business
  • Track and analyze P&C data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 9+ years of related experience in HR field (Business Partner, Management)
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to make appropriate decisions
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to handle confidential information
  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of areas within Human Resources including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits
  • Proven success at developing strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results
  • Experience in applying HR principles and practices, employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to work extensive hours during peak times
  • Ability to travel to other offices locations
  • Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

  • HR Certification is preferred
  • Prior experience supporting international hiring, transfers and ex- patriots
  • Aerospace, Engineering or Technology industry experience preferred
  • Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways using independent judgment
  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects and attend to daily HR matters while maintaining focus and follow through on issues until resolved and delivering results as committed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness at all levels in the organization and across cultures.

    The salary range for this role is:

    $125,000 - $213,000
