Job Description

Supply Chain business systems specialist and project deployment lead for one of Rockwell Automation's manufacturing plants. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing Industry 4.0 projects impacting multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Managing the deployment of new technical solutions by setting timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, conducting the implementation, leading change management and overseeing the post-deployment hypercare.
  • Enabling manufacturing operations through daily support of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) & IoT (Internet of Things) systems.
  • Serving as a technical expert on cross-functional teams, advising teams on new product launches, configuring new production lines, and improving processes.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to discover and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement of business systems.
  • Prioritizing opportunities and creating a digital transformation roadmap.
  • Promoting global technology and process standards across manufacturing locations.
  • Liaising with technical build teams to communicate business requirements for new applications and to test solutions prior to deployment.
  • Training users on new systems to ensure redundancy of critical skillsets.
  • Some off-hours support may be required depending on project work.
  • Travel up to 10%.
