Job Description
What you will do
Implement and manage the enterprise storage infrastructure.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure optimal performance, availability,
and data protection.
Provide technical expertise to support the development and deployment of
storage solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.
Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization.
Develop and maintain storage-related documentation and procedures.
Keep up-to-date with emerging storage technologies and industry trends.
Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company.
Builds relationships and interacts with peers to ensure assigned tasks are
prioritized appropriately.
Think outside the box and explore new avenues to overcome obstacles by
utilizing the latest technologies and standards.
Minimal qualifications
At least 4 years of experience managing enterprise storage and backups
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Avamar, Networker, Isilons, and DataDomains
Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, CIFS)
Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Experience with backup and recovery processes
Familiarity with storage performance monitoring and analysis tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill
Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform)
Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools
An aversion to manually fixing repeatable operational tasks with an
affinity for automation
