Description
Collaborate with and lead cross domain and cross discipline expert teams
to define system design decisions and implement technical solutions
Support the development of the overall Systems Architecture for new AD and
ADAS systems and capture the necessary architectural views (functional,
logical, mechanization, etc) in models
Define systems architecture roadmap to scale new architectures for future
vehicle and electrical platform variants
Collect required computing resource including CPU performance, memory,
communication ports, power consumption, bandwidth, etc. to support the
AD/ADAS capabilities and features and allocate the resource with optimized
fashion
Analyze the existing vehicle electrical architecture, and provide the
compute system architecture which can be seamlessly integrated into the
existing electrical system with minimal modification
Establish bootup sequence, stack flashing strategies for ADCU
(Autonomouse Driving Computing Unit) compatible with existing vehicle
electrical architecture along with basic diagnostic strategy
Evaluate and define the function allocation and communication protocol,
coordinate and modify the topology to meet local application needs,
formulate the overall hardware design scheme, review and guide the
hardware design of each domain, improve the reusability of functions,
optimize the hardware and communication strategy of each domain from
platform perspective
Analyze and assign the available power consumption of the AD/ADAS compute
system, and provide high level thermal control strategy
Provide design philosophy to fulfill system requirements against harsh
environmental conditions of automotive computing system including EMI,
EMP, Thermal, Vibration, etc.
Generate the technical requirement documents into CTRS, and Lead technical
review of the controller HW solution like electrical design, PCB layout,
Interface, Key IC evaluation, etc.
Support SFMEA evaluation and documentation
Give technical input of test items cross the samples delivery, and support
for issue resolution with proper design solution
Support leadership for technical trend accessment and benchmark summary as
required
