Lead development of test methods, procedures, and/or test fixtures for advanced development projects and new robotic products. Automate existing manual tests for ABB robotic arms. Automate data processing using SQL and Python to produce Mode reports. Coordinate validation of new tests with shared resources (in-house and external). Lead cross-functional root cause and corrective action activities. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate development status and results with other project leads (Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Program Manager). Support transition from development to testing locally and globally (U.S. and China). Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $77,549 - $90,000 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related plus 1 year of professional experience performing testing or development using electromechanical systems, specialized test equipment (including ground truth systems), and test fixture hardware (including thermal chambers, HALT chambers, vibration tables, power analyzers, pneumatics, or PLC) and software (including PLC, Raspberry PI, Labview, or Python). Must also have experience with the following special skills: 1 year of professional experience with mechanical and electrical tools used in product development of electromechanical systems (including drills, presses, multi-meters, or oscilloscopes); 1 year professional experience using robotic arms to automate processes; 1 year of professional experience using SQL and python to analyze data sets stored in databases and generate reports.
