Team Leader Process Control & Digitalization Department

The Team Leader of the Process Control & Digitalization department is the
right hand of the department manager. In this role you will be responsible for
organizing key activities of the department internally and contributes to its
development both locally and internationally.
Your responsibilities
Bids and proposals: Analyze tenders and customer requirements. Review
P&IDs to validate process understanding. Conduct customer site audits when
required. Provide support to commercial team for Service opportunities,
provide support the offer preparation. Take the lead to compile and
propose Service proposal < 50K€. Validate the quotation of engineering
hours included in Solution proposals.
Customer support : Coordinate and supervise customer support team,
including 24/7 on-call service. Directs and determines the means to solve
complex technical problems that cannot be handled directly by the team. In
such cases, propose a technical solution to the customer. Intervenes in
customer site maintenance in case of resource shortage or complex
solution. Prepare contract performance reviews, track performance KPIs,
participate in performance reviews with clients.
Project execution: Ensure applicable standards, norms and procedures are
respected in the execution of projects; Ensure projects are executed
within the budget and time committed to the customers, Contribute to the
assignment of available resources to projects. Optimize utilization of
subcontractors; monitors and reviews their deliverables. Maintain resource
& load forecast up to date. Utilize it to seek optimum productivity of
team and anticipate fulfilment of demand. Coach younger engineers and
technicians. Develop competencies following the relevant HR framework.
Development of shared operation centers (OPC): For each project, based
on the project scope, determines the split of work to be executed by OPC
personnel. Assign tasks to OPC according to availability and competencies.
Reviews and supervises the technical work delivered by OPC personnel.
Prepares and coordinate the delivery of a training program to develop the
competencies of OPC personnel.
Your background
MSc or equivalent degree, or corresponding experience in process control
automation.
A prior in transverse team management would be a plus.
English fluency
Knowledge MS-DOS or PowerShell, and VMWARE (virtual machine one blade
server)
