GM's Creative Technology and Training team is seeking a Teamcenter Business Lead who is a specialist in all aspects of Teamcenter functionality and integrated tools such as Alias, NX and Tc Vis. The role requires business and technical support, leading projects, managing changes to the software, testing, and providing technical training to the end users.
This position requires an employee to be onsite 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize business requirements for projects.
Coordinate input from internal and external customers to better understand their needs and or perceptions.
Develop and execute global business validation test plans for new versions of Teamcenter; this includes determining the scope of testing activities, monitoring, and escalating defects.
Monitor and maintain the list of outstanding Teamcenter issues; pro- actively work with IT to create and execute a plan to implement issue fixes in production environment.
Identify and prioritize opportunities with PDM methods integrated globally and cross-functionally.
Develop and document proposals for standard work improvements based on customer requirements.
Required
Understanding of GM GVDP process is preferred
Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter (Tc) and NX
