Introduction

As part of Program Delivery, you will work under the guidance of the Test Development Manager to develop and document test methods, procedures, and results across our products. You will support the Front End Innovation (FEI) teams in validating and integrating new technologies into products, and you will be responsible for working with New Product Integration (NPI) teams to determine how to best test future products, analyze data, and convey results. You should possess sufficient technical depth to troubleshoot complex cross functional problems and document findings.

What you will do

  • Develop test methods, procedures, and/or test fixtures.
  • Perform product and subsystem level testing and document/communicate results.
  • Coordinate testing and validation with shared resources (in-house and external).
  • Support transition from test development to test execution locally and globally (U.S. and China).

    • To be successful you will have

  • 3-5 years of experience developing test methods, executing tests, and documenting results.
  • BS in Engineering.
  • Experience developing electro-mechanical systems that contain complex software behaviors.
  • Working knowledge of Python and common data processing/analysis libraries such as Pandas, numpy, and Matplotlib
  • Adept at summarizing and presenting complex test data in an informative and easily understood manner.
  • Ability to interpret and modify Engineering design documentation (schematics, drawings, etc.).
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.

    • Desired Qualifications

  • Experience testing consumer vacuum and/or robotic products.
  • Experience in statistical analysis of test results.
  • Experience with specialized test equipment and test fixture hardware/software (thermal chambers, HALT chambers, vibration tables, power analyzers, pneumatics, PLC, Raspberry Pi, LabVIEW, C#, etc.).
  • Proficient with mechanical and electrical tools used in product development of electromechanical systems (common hand tools, drills, presses, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
