Introduction
iRobot is looking to hire a talented and ambitious US Sales Manager. In this role, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of online and brick & mortar retailers by establishing trusted strategic relationships and implementing profitable growth strategies. A successful candidate can work cross- functionally to accomplish goals, possesses strong analytical skills to reach data-based decisions and can measure and achieve sell-in, sell-thru and margin goals. What You Will Do:
· Deliver monthly and quarterly revenue, unit and product margin targets for your territory
· Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, providing insight to opportunities and risks
· Develop strategic retailer relationships, facilitating growth and strong partnership
· Work closely with business planning to create accurate and insightful sell- in and sell-thru forecasts, considering trends, promotional strategies, competitive landscape, and revenue goals
· Closely monitor customer on-hand inventory and sales trends to support healthy inventory levels
· Ensure a thorough understanding of customer growth trends and competitive activity within different product categories and price ranges
· With channel marketing teams, execute promotional and product launch strategies that provide the best ROI and maximize exposure and conversion
· Explore and develop new opportunities for growth in areas such as online affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, secondary displays, incremental placements, etc
· Continual “walk the store” efforts to ensure customer experience is in line with planned strategies
· Serve as the central point of contact for your territory with your retailers and within iRobot
To Be Successful You Will Have:
· 5+ years of experience delivering revenue and margin targets in the CE / hardlines industry
· 5-8 years of account experience, preferably with national retailers. Best Buy and Target a plus
· Bachelor's degree
· A detailed understanding of the levers that drive sales and improve margin
· Ability to negotiate program, placements and promotions aligned to the company's interests
· Financial acumen and analytical skills related to retailer metrics, profitability and ROI
· Experience accurately forecasting unit demand and revenue targets
· An ability to collaborate and build relationships with professionals at all organizational levels
· High Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, sales tracking) and PowerPoint (professional presentations)
· English language fluency
· Ability to support 15-20% travel
