RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for Wholesales volume of yearly and monthly
To introduce production plan to meet sales requirement with considering production model mix and priorities
Plan & manage processing order based on monthly Fcst volume and dealer demand to achieve dealer TGT and GMJ RS Fcst volumes with Sales Planning Manager
Responsible for operation of Vehicle Processing Center to satisfy sales requirement in Quality, Delivery and Cost with conforming JMLIT regulations
To maintain delivery standard and Improvement for production quality
To control to perform Conformity Inspection for every vehicle imported
To control to monitor product quality at the receipt from source plant and to control to take necessary and timely action when quality defects were found to keep the VPC production running and to improve the quality
To control to manage and monitor production process and progress to ensure quality and introduce efficient method in productivity and cost
To control to manage in-process volume and car pool capacity to keep materials flow smooth
To control to process source defects and/or transportation damage through warranty and insurance procedures
To manage to establish and monitor budget
To manage and order any stock part/ materials to be equipped to cars
Responsible for dealer claim and their solution
Support New product/ MY product launch activities with Product team and other teams
To establish and ensure production circumstances in facility, equipment and tools, headcount, system and materials
To manage to ensure security of the VPC
To prepare and provide necessary information to management on timely manner
Responsible for production ordering to US and status management
To control to order detail monthly to US with appropriate mix within cut- off date
To manage to ask US and Product team when monthly order was rejected until solved
To keep utility supplies pipelines and to control industrial wastes.
To manage logistic arrangement of US inland and Japan (coast <-> VPC/ VPC <-> Dealers)
Responsible internal audit and marine insurance coordination
Custom relation audit
Global Marine insurance coordination
Supervise team staffs
To implement efficient organization with stuffing adequate personnel to each of the function
To manage personnel issues with monitoring performance and/or providing coaching to improve skill and attitudes
To manage to ensure safety, sanitary and health of staffs
To manage to execute GM on-line training to members
To notify related changes to Labor Standard Supervision Office, Health Office and/or Fire Department
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge/ Skill and License
Business English capability (TOEIC 600 and above)
Driving License
Preferable minimum 3rd grade national automotive technician certificates (1st or 2nd grade is preferable)
Computer literate in Windows applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Access preferable)
Proven problem-solving abilities
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to work as a team member
Experience: Working experience as a technician/ quality improvement or logistic relation for more than 5 years at a Japanese automotive firm or an importer
