As a Warehouse Distribution Analyst, you will be working closely with our 3PL (Project Leader) in providing support for logistics and handling of materials & finished products throughout the warehouses in Motion, Drive Products in New Berlin, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be experiencing in material flow systems, project management, a strong systemic problem-solving ability, excellent communication, and internal motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment. This role supports all local divisions at the site.

Your responsibilities
  • Safety & Environment: Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner that will encourage others to exercise safety in their normal daily activities. Follow and comply with all environmental, health & safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental and 3PL housekeeping standards. Support Activity Based Safety Assessments for all plant site shipping and Warehouse end-to-end functions
  • Customer: Assist the operations team on efficient and accurate data extraction and visualization, as support driving efficiencies in the end- to-end process with operations and logistics provider. Manage business escalation notifications and communication dealing with the warehouse to ensure on time delivery to the customer
  • Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and report in an accurate and timely manner on standard and ad hoc detailed analyses for 3PL and warehousing and logistics. Identifies key root causes and implements improvement initiatives. Understand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the analysis, management, and continuous improvement of processes. Support and drive cost efficiencies
  • Process/Systems: Learn, develop, and support end to end warehouse processes, systems and related ABB internal processes and systems impacting warehousing and distribution. Work with 3PL to ensure SAP & 3PL systems are in alignment and working effectively
  • Problem Solving: Research non-conformance systemically and through problem solving tools to define toot cause and resolve Customer Care Response Process (CCRP) inquires. Collect and analyze warehousing and distribution data from CCRP inquiries to share with the internal teams highlighting opportunities that will drive corrective/preventative actions
  • Cost Savings: Analyze and correlate financial aspects of metrics and KPIs to develop cost savings proposals
  • Your background
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work experience OR Associate degree and 4 years or work experience or High School Diploma and 6 years of work experience required.
  • Valid driver's license to travel between plant and warehouse (4 miles) required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) SAP, SFDC, BI Tools, etc. highly preferred.
  • Experience in material flow process & logistics handling preferable in at least 3 different cross functional areas such as Supply Chain, Warehousing/Distribution, Logistics, 3PL, Value Chain, Product Engineering, Quality Project Management, Production Management, Service Repair, etc highly preferred
  • Detail oriented, analytical, Self-starter, ability to take calculated risks, ability to work in cross functional teams highly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills. Team player who can lead or be a team member of process with an ability to budget targets, build business cases, and meet deadlines highly preferred.
